Update on Windows 7 Beta Availability

Reading the news this morning about the Windows 7 download crash has got the whole wide world once again laughing at Microsoft. For years I have been trying to explain to the Windows Team why Vista failed, but would they ever listen to me?
 
Even now Microsoft PR is framing the story as one of enthusiasm when the truth is that all the guys with cracked versions of XP want to get their hands on the next FREE OS.
 
To add insult to injury the Windows Team blog post is written by a guy who's not on the Windows team and doesn't know much about anything. I've been hanging at the CNTRSTG blogger hospitality suite at CES this week and last night a Marketing Dude from Windows sat down next to me and didn't listen.
